Tokyo Disneyland is a theme park located in Urayasu, Chiba, Japan, near Tokyo. It is owned and operated by the Oriental Land Company with a license from The Walt Disney Company. Tokyo Disneyland is the first Disney theme park built outside the United States, and it opened on April 15, 1983. It was also the first Disney theme park to be built under the direct supervision of Walt Disney Imagineering. The park is divided into seven themed areas: World Bazaar, Adventureland, Westernland, Critter Country, Fantasyland, Toontown, and Tomorrowland.
Each area features a variety of attractions, restaurants, and shops based on popular Disney franchises such as Mickey Mouse, Disney princesses, and Pixar. Tokyo Disneyland is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Japan, attracting millions of visitors each year.
